It does cheapen the term GOTY when there's 50-11 games with GOTY editions. Especially when a game is poorly reviewed in the press.

I sort of agree on the graphics point that graphics is in the eyes of the beholder and not a number, but it still all goes back to games. It wasn't 3rd party that made the best looking games last gen. It was Sony with Uncharted and Last of Us making full use of a superior system that made a significant leap in graphical perfor...

I'd even say Assassins Creed 2, inFamous 2, and Mass Effect 2 were all improvements to the original. Next gen sequels to add to that list would be Forza 2 and Killzone 2.
That doesn't mean Titanfall 2 will be even better, but it does happen enough that it be expected. I'm sure Respawn is 100% capable of making an even better game. So the SOB's better deliver when it's on PS4.

I think the author should have picked Dazzler over Jubilee? Fetch does look like Jubilee though. It is super, super cool to have a female protagonist. Can't wait to play Fetch.
Looked like a blast at E3...! Seamless multiplayers is the thing to do this gen m'suppose for more immersive gameplay.

Yeah, true, but I was thinking hardware. Every generation of consoles is judged on their own merits. The lackluster response to Wii U and those jumping from 360 to PS4 show last gen performance isn't a guarantee. But then again people buy a console on their favorite game release date too.
For example, I didn't buy a console until two years after the PS3 release...price was a BIG barrier although knowing I wanted God of War and holding out ...

LOL. Remakes aren't AAA, the original games were. You had a Forza game less than a year ago. I know it is different, but I haven't seen how different. Might as well as be a remake too.

If this is true, we may have reached parity between the platforms. Maybe now games will truly drive game sales instead of RROD, console bans, sitting on shelves, and price drops. I think this is good news for gamers.
I had Marathon on my Mac, so I knew before XBox or Halo.
